Cambridge City Council’s Children and Young People’s Participation Service (ChYpPS) will be holding a variety of free events and sessions for school aged children across Cambridge this summer.
These sessions will include fishing lessons, cooking, skateboarding, a robotics workshop, and more. Throughout August, ChYpPs will be working alongside several organisations including Amey to host the ‘Big Wednesdays’ events each Wednesday from 1-4pm at different locations across the city.
These sessions will help children to meet new friends and try new activities, all totally free of charge. Amey will also be hosting their own Family Activity Days throughout August, focusing on the importance of recycling and what you can do to help reduce the amount of plastic used by consumers and businesses across the UK.
